Product Description
High voltage, low inductance, AND longest possible operation without failures?
Here we go.
In power electronics in general, and especially in low inductance buffer circuits with higher voltages as well as in discharge circuits, the call for capacitors with low inductance tends to pose problems: traditional high voltage capacitors are filled with oil, and the generous bushings required for clearance and creepage as well as internal safety mechanisms add substantially to the self-inductance of the capacitor.
Based on decades of proprietary experience in metallizing capacitor films, ELECTRONICON has created a range of high voltage capacitors in self-healing technology, using the opportunities of special metallizing patterns. Despite the high voltage rating, our E51 range is manufactured in dry technology and without expensive bushings. Inside the can made of self-extinguishing plastic, the capacitor element is enclosed in solid resin (PUR). Connection is made through robust flat terminals with internal thread. Along with their very good ratio of capacitance to volume, these capacitors do also have high pulse strength and very good self-healing characteristics without loss of capacitance. For the sake of optimised self-inductance, the E51s are made without safety mechanism; by clever internal design they can be laid out and rated in such manner that partial dielectric discharges and consequential risk of failures in the customer?s application are reduced to a minimum.

Q: What benefits do the round, blue design and standard size offer?
A: The round shape makes installation straightforward in compact or modular spaces, while the blue color ensures easy identification and safety. The standard size streamlines replacement and compatibility in diverse setups.
Q: When should I consider replacing my industrial DC capacitor?
A: It is recommended to replace capacitors if there are signs of diminished performance or at the end of their one-year warranty period, whichever comes first, ensuring continued operational safety and reliability.
Q: Where are your capacitors manufactured and exported from?
A: Our High Voltage DC Capacitors are manufactured in India and we export them internationally, serving industrial clients across various regions with consistent product quality.
Q: What is the process of installing these capacitors in an industrial system?
A: Installation involves securing the capacitor in the designated slot, connecting it to the correct terminals as per system specifications, and ensuring it operates at the rated 220 Volts and frequency of 50 Hertz for optimal safety and performance.
Q: How does the capacitors frequency rating of 50 Hertz affect its usage?
A: A 50 Hertz frequency rating ensures compatibility with most industrial power grids and machinery, allowing the capacitor to efficiently filter and manage power at standard operating frequencies found in India and many other countries.
Q: What advantages does your warranty policy provide to industrial customers?
A: The one-year warranty offers peace of mind by covering any manufacturing defects, supporting industrial users with reliable performance and prompt assistance in the unlikely event of issues within the warranty period.
